This article shows how German students are learning and having expierences abroad. They are traveling to France, Spain, and Britain as the most popular destinations for students. I feel that when students travel abroad they get to mix with other cultures which in turns helps there understanding and appreciate things in their own culture more.

Moment of Silence
http://www.suntimes.com/news/education/3377560-418/moment-silence-district-silent-schools.html
I think that schools should start having a moment of silence before the pledge of allience because it gives students time to reflect and think about what its is to be a American. It also give think about why they are saying the pledge and to think of things that are important to them as well.

1.Erins hopes and expectations for her class is that she has a nice class room and his students with good attitudes and respect her.
2. The challenges that faced her from the beginning where getting the students to like each other and her.
3. Some of the class scenarios were that one had a brother being on trial for something he didnt do and not being seen by his mother because he reminded her of his father. Another was that a boy was being evicted and homeless and yet found a home in her class. Another was a woman being a third generation gang member and was tought the wrong ideals that we must protect our own no matter what.
4. The students attitudes effected their grades because when they became willing and excited about learning their academic performance improved.
5. The Stratagies that Erin incorporated into her class to break down the barriers between teacher and student was separating from the particular groups that there were accustomed to and putting them next to different people.
6. The different teaching methods Erin used with her students was Journals, turning the desks different ways, field trips and speakers.
7. Since the Adminstration refused over and over to give Erin the tools she needed, she didnt give up and got two more jobs to by new books by herself for her class.
8. The adminstration saw the class as a waste of time and that they earn the extra attention and were all going to fail out of school anyway.
9. Once the students saw how much Erin belived in them, the students in return begain to believe inthemselves.
10. The lessons that i learned that are many challenges that come up, but you have to keep tring different things to reach your students.

I feel that making it easier for teachers to teach is important because there are a variety of areas that need more help and need it quick and arent always able to get that help with the current teaching certifications however with these new steps up and coming students might not know enough to become actual good teachers.

Why do i want to become a teacher ?
Why do i want to become a Teacher?
I want to become a teacher because i want to be able to connect with kids and help them learn and become interested in subjects and expand their minds. I have a drive that i want to make education fun for the kids and make them want to learn it.
