Reflection on Thur Feb 3

Today we read an excerpt from The Nation by Linda Darling-Hammond. What i really came away from this article was that we had set all these goals prior to the No Child Left behind in 1989 and were to accomplish them all by the year 2000 and as of yet havent accomplished any and its 2011. This tells us that No child Left Behind has failed and not worked the way we thought. We also today watched a presentation from Dr. Wagner. I though that the presentation was done very well and he had a good way of connecting with the students. I thought the 7 points that he brought across are very important for students today to follow to be successful.
