This article i read was very different than most the articles i have read because you dont really hear about punishment that much because it works so well for schools, but suprisingly enough that isnt the real truth out there. I can see both side of this argument about using punishment in school and why it should be allowed and then not allowed. When you hear of punishment in today's schools most of the time you here detention not paddling a custom that has almost disapeared in its own right. I think that this will become a bigger issue because each side is so thoughly opposed to each other and the students are the ones feeling it. I did find it weird that a school in New Orleans the student wanted to bring back the paddeling.
